Job Summary
Build relationships with customers via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel on banking needs. Process customer and account information, greet clients, and execute basic transactions while maintaining a digital-first mindset. Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging with their unique goals, recommending deposit and loan products, and educating them on self-service technologies. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Develop partnerships with branch team members to optimize the client experience through operational excellence and accuracy. Requires NMLS registration, a criminal background check, and credit check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Bilingual English and Spanish
