Job Summary
Build relationships with customers via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel on banking needs. Greet clients, process transactions, and open new consumer and business accounts while submitting credit applications. Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit, loan, and digital self-service products, recommending solutions based on unique goals. Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking services and collaborate with branch team members to optimize the client experience. Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including criminal background and credit checks. Full-time role at a U.S. Bank location in Selma, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems

- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
