Job Summary
Build relationships with customers via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel and adapt a digital-first mindset. Greet clients, process basic transactions, and open new consumer and business accounts while obtaining and processing account information. Recommend deposit and loan products based on unique goals by identifying solutions for new and existing clients. Maintain knowledge of banking products and services, including digital offerings, and educate clients on self-service technologies. Collaborate with branch team members to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. Requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, plus a criminal background and credit check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems

- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
