Job Summary
Greet clients in-person, by appointment, or virtually to provide counsel on banking needs, processing transactions and opening new consumer and business accounts. Assess customer requirements by asking questions about financial goals and channel preferences, then recommend deposit and loan products while educating clients on digital self-service technologies. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking services to deliver an optimal client experience through proactive outreach and follow-up. This part-time role requires 20 hours weekly and includes a mandatory NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act, including a criminal background and credit check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
