Job Summary
Greet clients, process transactions, and open new accounts while assessing banking needs and recommending deposit and loan solutions. Engage customers via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to educate them on digital products and self-service technologies. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking services, submit credit applications, and foster relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up. Ensure operational excellence and accuracy while collaborating with branch team members to deliver an optimal client experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Satisfactory criminal and credit record

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills

- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
