Job Summary
Build relationships with customers via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel on deposit and loan products. Assess banking needs, process transactions, and open new consumer and business accounts while educating clients on digital self-service tools. Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products to recommend solutions based on unique goals. Proactively engage clients through follow-up and outreach to foster trust and optimize the client experience with operational excellence. This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration, a criminal background check, and a satisfactory credit record.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills

- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
