Job Summary
Greet clients in-person, by appointment, or virtually to provide counsel on banking needs while processing transactions and opening new consumer and business accounts. Assess customer requirements to recommend deposit and loan products, submit credit applications, and educate clients on digital self-service technologies. Maintain relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up, adapting a digital-first mindset to optimize the client experience with operational excellence. Requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, with a criminal background and credit check. Full-time, 38-hour schedule at ID-Mountain Home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems

- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
