Job Summary
Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach, in-person appointments, and virtual channels to provide counsel on deposit and loan products. Greet clients, process basic transactions, and open new consumer and business accounts while submitting credit applications. Identify solutions for existing clients by assessing unique financial goals and educating them on emerging digital self-service technologies. Maintain a working knowledge of banking policies and collaborate with branch teams to optimize the client experience with operational excellence. Requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, including criminal background and credit checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills

- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
