Job Summary
Greet clients in-person, by appointment, or virtually to provide counsel on banking needs, deposit and loan products, and digital services. Process customer and account information, open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging self-service technologies and recommend solutions based on their unique goals. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products while building collaborative partnerships with branch team members. This 30-hour role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a criminal background and credit check. Pay range is $20.25 - $24.75.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems

- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
