Job Summary
Greet clients in-person, by appointment, or virtually to provide counsel on banking needs and process transactions. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications while maintaining a working knowledge of deposit and loan products. Proactively educate clients on emerging digital products and self-service technologies, adapting a digital-first mindset to meet unique financial goals. Build and foster relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up, effectively engaging clients to identify solutions for new and existing accounts. Requires NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z, with a criminal background and credit check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems

- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
