Job Summary
Hybrid-roles in either Dallas, TX or Raleigh, NC requiring responsibility for hedge fund regulatory compliance reporting including SEC Form PF, CFTC Form CPO-PQR, AIFMD and OPERA; involves regulatory research, client communications, and management reporting, plus assisting with implementation of regulatory service offerings and integration with third-party systems; work with technology and operations teams to align new workflows with the firm’s regulatory service offerings; requires 2–4 years in audit/tax in alternative investments, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial products and derivatives; collaboration with Middle Office, Fund Accounting, and Investor Services, and a client-management component to alert clients of regulatory updates.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in audit or tax in the alternative investments space at a national accounting firm
- Microsoft Excel experience with data management, efficiencies and controls
- Financial Product experience (understanding of financial theory and operations for a variety of cash and derivative instruments)
- Organizational skills/ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities
- Notable oral and written communication skills
- System Testing experience and documentation of system process (e.g., flowcharts)
