Job Summary
DXC Technology seeks a Client Partner (AE) for Retail and Consumer Goods to serve as the primary advisor and relationship owner for key enterprise accounts. This senior sales/relationship leadership role blends strategic sales, account management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include leading strategic account planning, driving revenue growth through up-sell and cross-sell, partnering with cross-functional teams for successful delivery, delivering business reviews, managing executive-level relationships, and ensuring service excellence. The role requires strong communication with C-suite executives, a focus on account strategy, budgeting, and governance, and the ability to influence and negotiate at the highest levels across complex, global accounts. It also emphasizes building trusted advisor relationships, promoting brand presence, and guiding delivery teams toward client-centric outcomes. The position requires travel up to 50% and residence within preferred locations in the Northeast, with onsite work two days per week for those near a DXC office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 15+ years of experience in business management, consulting, or account management, demonstrating expertise in technology and business transformation
- 10+ years in a supervisory or management capacity, including experience in managing and growing significant client relationships
- A proven track record of achieving new business development, revenue, and profitability targets and managing profit-and-loss for large accounts, ideally within the retail and consumer industries
- Experience within a global organization of considerable size, scope, and complexity
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and commercial awareness
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to engage effectively with C-suite executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for quantitative analysis and decision-making
- Executive presence with the ability to build trust at senior levels
- A deep understanding of industry trends, business challenges, and technology solutions
- Excellence in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and team leadership
