Job Summary
Phlebotomist position (part-time, 34 hours/week) at a client site in Barrington, IL. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture and specimen processing, order entry in multiple systems, verifying test results, patient information retrieval, and lab reception/clerical duties. Maintain specimen integrity, adhere to policies and biohazard procedures, use EMR and other systems, communicate with laboratory and physicians, and participate in QA/QC activities. Requires excellent customer service, teamwork, safety practices, and completion of competency assessments; ability to work 8am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with occasional Saturdays.
