Job Summary
Lead and manage a portfolio of clients delivering high-quality accounting services while building and sustaining long-term relationships. Oversee workload planning, WIP management, and billing, briefing team members on objectives and timelines, and supervising junior staff to ensure outputs are accurate, on time, and within budget. Act as a key point of contact with clients and collaborate with senior leadership to support growth and continuous improvement, utilizing accounting systems such as CCH, Sage, and Xero. Strong client-facing communication, organisational and time-management skills, and a proactive, independent work style are essential. The role requires ACA or ACCA qualifications and substantial experience in an accountancy practice, with full benefits, UK-based presence, and sponsorship not provided.
Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational/time management skills
- Experience using accounting systems such as CCH, Sage, and Xero
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
