Job Summary
Client Manager for Commercial accounts responsible for overseeing a book of commercial clients, serving as the primary liaison between the agency and clients. Provides strategic guidance on coverage options, coordinates renewals, ensures timely policy servicing, and works with internal teams and carriers to deliver tailored insurance solutions and high client satisfaction. Duties include market renewal and new lines of insurance, creating coverage specifications and manuscript wording, analyzing/negotiating carrier quotes, reviewing contracts, identifying cross-selling opportunities, preparing proposals and comparisons, maintaining client files in EPIC, and ensuring adherence to E&O Plus standards with a minimum audit rating of 90% on all accounts. Requires Property & Casualty license (and Life & Health desired) and prefers advanced designations (CIC, CPCU); Bachelor's degree is a plus. Flexible work arrangements include remote and hybrid options.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- minimum 3 years of insurance experience with handling commercial accounts at a high level of responsibility
- Maintain a client-centric focus; responsive to stakeholders’ needs; able to work independently; able to learn third-party computer programs/websites
- Possess skills: strong oral and written communication, planning and analysis, MS Office, proactivity, critical thinking, organization and time management, accounting and analytics, project management, accountability, teamwork, delegation, train co-workers
- Appropriate jurisdictional license required (Property & Casualty) and Life & Health (desired) for cross-selling opportunities
