Job Summary
The Client Manager in the commercial insurance sector at Fred C. Church is responsible for managing new and renewal policies for diverse clients, ensuring accurate coverage, and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities include identifying insurance exposures, preparing submissions for marketing, generating policy summaries, and collaborating with internal teams. The position requires a licensed P&C Producer or a commitment to obtaining licensure, along with 3-5 years of commercial account experience, knowledge of underwriting and insurance laws, and proficiency with MS Office. A college degree and relevant professional designations are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed P&C Producer, or willingness to successfully obtain license within 3 to 6 months of starting position
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with an agency or carrier handling commercial accounts
- First-hand knowledge of underwriting procedures, rating plans and state and federal insurance laws
- Experienced user of MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Applied EPIC insurance agency management system
- Appropriate professional designation(s) - CIC, AAI, CPCU, ARM
