Job Summary
Implementation Manager for multiple client implementations in the PBM/healthcare IT space. Oversees end-to-end implementation activities, coordinates cross-functional teams, documents business requirements, develops project plans, and communicates milestones and client satisfaction. Serves as primary client contact during implementation, conducts risk assessments, and facilitates post-implementation reviews. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of PM experience in PBM/healthcare IT, proficiency with PM tools (Smartsheet, Monday, MS Project, JIRA), and strong communication and analytical skills. PMP or similar certification is a plus. Salary range $100,000–$125,000 per year; remote and in-office options influenced by location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience (2 years) as a Project Manager, preferably in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare IT implementation
- Strong understanding of PBM industry practices, processes, and regulations
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize information in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday, Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar)
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- PMP certification or similar project management certification is a plus
