Job Summary
Client Funds Specialist responsible for managing, tracking, and reconciling client-related financial transactions with accuracy, transparency, and timeliness. Duties include processing bank deposits and disbursements, ensuring deposits are recorded to the correct client matter and disbursements have supporting documentation, setting up vendors to meet IRS criteria, preparing bank reconciliations, managing Trust Accounts to comply with state regulations and firm policies, maintaining banking relationships and signature account access, conducting in-depth transaction research, storing and filing transaction records, and handling special projects as assigned. Requires strong mathematical, written and analytical skills, excellent organization, the ability to work independently and in a team, adaptability to changing priorities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years relevant accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, or Economics
- Strong verbal, mathematical, written, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Microsoft 365
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent organizational skills and sense of urgency
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
