Job Summary
You’ll be essential in delivering innovative solutions to State, Local, and Federal Government agencies that make them more connected to the world. You’ll cultivate sales opportunities through strategic networking, engaging in negotiations, and closing sales. You’ll understand customer needs and recommend innovative solutions, seek out growth opportunities, generate new sales leads, write proposals and respond to RFPs, provide follow-up training for new customers, lead your sales pipeline and activity with sales-management tools, generate forecasting and tracking reports, and stay current on offerings and market trends through training and research. The role focuses on building relationships, solving governmental challenges with Verizon solutions, and driving a lucrative salary with base pay and commissions, plus a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities. You’ll primarily work from customer or field locations with occasional in-person training and meetings, in Colorado (Denver/Lone Tree) as part of a mobile role, with a focus on government-sector SLED sales and velocity selling methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
