Job Summary

Client Executive - Single Parent Captives at Marsh McLennan Agency leads and coordinates all phases of captive insurance engagements, develops detailed project data request lists, and oversees client deliverables including complex PowerPoint presentations. The role involves analyzing insurance programs to assess profitability and risk exposure from premium and loss history, partnering with brokerage teams to address insureds’ requirements, and delivering strategic updates in high-level client meetings. Travel is requested (~10%). The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline; 8+ years of experience in insurance/risk management/captive insurance; strong analytical and communication skills; and a P&C license (with CPCU/ARM or MBA-like designations preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and data analytics tools is expected, with a demonstrated ability to manage senior client relationships and drive program delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline
  • 8 years of progressive experience in insurance, risk management, or captive insurance
  • Knowledge of captive insurance models and regulatory environments
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM platforms
  • Property & Casualty license is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related discipline
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) or professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or equivalent (highly preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in insurance, risk management, or captive insurance
  • Deep knowledge of captive insurance models, alternative risk financing mechanisms, regulatory environments, and risk management best practices
  • Proven track record of managing complex client relationships at a senior level with a consultative approach
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with data-driven underwriting and risk assessment capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and familiarity with insurance management and data analytics tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 10%)
  • Property & Casualty license required
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or similar are preferred
