Job Summary
Quote, bind, and service new and renewal accounts while assisting with client needs to help develop new products. Respond to client information requests, coordinate with departments, and clear with Brokers. Update senior-level Brokers and Supervisors on issues, progress, and payment collection for placement slips, cover notes, and policies. Analyze financial statements for specific industries and act as the first point of contact for day-to-day insurance queries. Maintain business relationships to better serve clients. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in general insurance, fluency in Chinese and English, and a hybrid schedule of at least three onsite days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above
- Minimum 2+ years of working experience in general insurance industry
- Fluency in both Chinese and English - Both verbal and written
- Act as a first point of contact within service team for day-to-day insurance queries
- Be proactive in servicing and anticipate any issues at an early stage
Desired Qualifications
- Majoring in insurance studies is preferred
- Experience in a client-facing role working closely with underwriters
- Preparing presentations
- Negotiating terms with insurers
- May analyze financial statements for all industries with specific knowledge of each industries unique financial metrics
