Job Summary
Prepare client renewals by analyzing exposure data, reviewing quotes, and drafting proposals. Support new business development and insurance consulting assignments while maintaining sales pipelines and trackers. Collaborate with producers, placements teams, and technical assistants to deliver best-in-class service. Work three days a week out of the NYC office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- College degree
- A minimum of 5 years of commercial Property & Casualty (General Liability, Automobilie, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella, Property) experience in mid-size brokerage or carrier
- Prior experience working with financial services, real estate, and/or natural resources/infrastructure
- Knowledge of insurance coverage forms, policy structure, and terminology
- Working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications to include word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software
- Current Property and Casualty Broker License
- Working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications to include word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Self-starter and takes initiative
- Demonstrated time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to function well in a fast-paced, high standard environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
