Job Summary
Develop and implement business development plans to support litigation practice group goals under the direction of the Senior Client Development Manager. Create client-specific presentations, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses while tracking matter details for directory submissions and publications. Plan and execute sponsorships and client events, managing various MCD initiatives within a matrix environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree, four years of experience in business development or marketing, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe. This role is part of a hybrid environment at Akerman, a premier law firm founded in 1920, where you will collaborate across multiple offices to enhance the firm's reputation and business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience, preferably with an AmLaw 100, financial services, or professional services firm, in a business development or marketing role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet multiple and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels across the firm, and to work well in a team environment, collaborating effectively with team members with varying perspectives
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe
