Client Development Director - Private Equity (GP & LP)

Job Summary
Drive new ARR from General Partners and Limited Partners across APAC, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop a regional go-to-market strategy spanning both GP and LP segments, serving as the primary relationship manager for lead generation, needs scoping, proof of concept, negotiation, and onboarding. Develop deep understanding of client use cases including portfolio monitoring and performance reporting to deliver tailored solutions to sophisticated fund managers and institutional investors. Conduct compelling sales presentations for C-suite stakeholders and heavily support regional team-building efforts by defining hiring priorities, onboarding processes, and operating rhythms for future Client Development hires. Identify opportunities to refine the client development process as the APAC function scales. Travel as needed for in-person meetings across the region and to global offices in New York and London.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six (6) or more years of professional experience in enterprise software sales or private capital markets
- A proven track record of sales success in a software sales or professional services environment serving the finance industry
- Experience working with or selling to both GP fund managers and LP institutional investors — including private equity firms, fund of funds, endowments, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, or similar
- An established professional network across private capital markets in Singapore and the broader APAC region
- An ability to quickly distill complex client needs and develop creative, solutions-oriented responses
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with C-suite and investment-level stakeholders
- Strong ability to independently prioritize, manage, and advance multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership aptitude and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving, with a demonstrated ability to help build a team or function from an early stage
- Comfort operating across time zones and geographies, with the flexibility to travel to Chronograph's New York headquarters annually, London office biannually, and within the APAC region as needed to support clients
- Applicants must have the existing legal right to work in Singapore on an ongoing basis without the need for employer-sponsored work pass sponsorship
- Familiarity with private capital markets, fund structures, or investment performance reporting
