Job Summary
Client Developer role focusing on leading strategic business development and strengthening client relationships across various market sectors in Ohio. Responsibilities include cultivating client engagements, collaborating on sales goals and regional growth plans, coordinating marketing efforts (proposals, RFQs, promotions), planning industry involvement, and leading monthly business development meetings. The position emphasizes developing client engagement strategies, positioning S&ME as a trusted advisor across environmental, geotechnical, and construction materials testing domains, and driving growth with internal teams and leadership. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, minimum of 6 years of technical or business development experience in the A/E/C industry, economic development experience and existing relationships, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, construction, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of technical and/or business development experience in the A/E/C industry
- Economic Development experience and existing relationships
- Existing relationships within the Commercial Real Estate, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industries
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-to engage clients and internal teams effectively
- A track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share
