Client Concierge - Receptionist

Job Summary
Greet and check in visitors, clients, and vendors while answering phone calls, including crisis or after-hours inquiries. Monitor facility entry points to ensure safety, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs. Provide facility information with strict HIPAA confidentiality, support admissions by collecting client data, and respond calmly to urgent situations involving distressed individuals. Perform administrative tasks like filing, data entry, and organizing paperwork while coordinating department communication during evening hours. Maintain reception area cleanliness and assist with light clerical duties. This role requires a compassionate approach in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with mandatory background checks, drug testing, and completion of CPR/FA and Handle with Care certifications within 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems)
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy laws (HIPAA knowledge)
- CPR/FA Certification – to be obtained within first 30 days
- Fingerprint Clearance Card – have current card or show proof of applying within 7 days from hire date
- Handle with Care – to be obtained within first 30 days
- Successful clearance of pre-employment criminal/county/state background check
- Successful clearance of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Successful clearance of TB PPD testing upon hire and annual screening of TB symptoms
- Attending clinical oversight with BHP once every 2 weeks worked for a minimum of 2 sessions per month
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in related field
