Job Summary
The Client Computing Engineer designs and deploys end-user computing solutions, including hardware, software, OS, and end-user virtualization; leads deployment of 365/Microsoft 365 services, IAM, and Azure Active Directory configurations; partners with IT Service Desk, Network, and Server teams to deliver scalable, secure client computing and to serve as tier 3 support. Responsibilities include designing and deploying client computing strategies, implementing and supporting Azure AD/Intune/365 services, leading requirements gathering and solution design, developing roadmaps, and ensuring operational excellence through incident/problem/change management. The role requires mentoring team members, effective communication of technical concepts to business partners, and occasional after-hours/on-call support for critical incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Service Desk, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing client computing related solutions
- Experience with 365 Services, Active Directory (including AAD) operations and group policy, InTune for MDM/MAM, AAD SSO integrations, Windows desktop (10/11), software packaging/deployment, imaging (MDT), PowerShell, Azure AD, Azure Virtual Desktop, MFA/SSO/Federation, Defender ATP or equivalent, anti-malware, whole-disk encryption, migration to Microsoft365/O365
- Demonstrated project management and/or team leadership capabilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical details into business impact
