Job Summary
Provide prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service to clients requesting certificates of insurance; process certificates per instructions from Producers, Account Manager, or Account Executive; assist the service department with mail, phones, and service emails; maintain client files and assist with related computer/word processing tasks; support knowledge/skill development through training to maintain required licenses; review activities to avoid errors and maintain confidentiality; telecommuting opportunities vary by location and department; requires strong MS Office and agency-management-system proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of commercial insurance and surety experience in a similar position preferred
- 2 - 4 years of direct telephone customer service experience preferred
- Proven experience working with small – mid-size commercial lines customers
- Possession of, or the ability to quickly obtain, all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance
- CISR designation preferred
