Job Summary
Client Care Liaison serves as a vital connection between the veterinary medical team and clients, guiding pet owners through complex medical information, providing support during emotionally challenging moments, and ensuring clients feel informed, respected, and cared for throughout their experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with veterinarians to maximize department schedule efficiency, accurately receiving and routing messages, following up with clients on their pet’s condition, coordinating financial estimates and deposits, obtaining medical records, assisting with prescription fulfillment and patient releases, and communicating follow-up care instructions. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication of medical information, and teamwork with Client Service Specialists to ensure a seamless client experience. Schedule: first shift 7am-4pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, including every other weekend, with some holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or a skilled veterinary assistant
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Strong client service skills and a passion for helping others
- Proficient with computers and basic keyboarding
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication handling preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required; fluency in multiple languages a plus
