Job Summary
Dual-role Client Care Professional combining hands-on client care (ADLs, grooming, bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting) with office-based support (scheduling, document management, coordinating communications). Provides companionship, observes and reports changes in clients’ conditions, and remains on-call for emergencies. Travels between locations to support new case assignments and urgent needs; mentors HHAs/PCA staff and promotes caregiving excellence. Requires NJ HHA certification, CPR/BLS, strong communication, and ability to document care plans accurately; healthcare experience with dementia, diabetes, stroke care is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid & Current New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
- Valid CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Fluency in English (verbal & written) – must understand and document care plans accurately
- Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
- Basic math skills – ability to calculate simple measurements and money transactions
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation – must be prepared to travel for client care and office support
