Job Summary
Assist in achieving group client retention targets by liaising with Account Executives to develop renewal strategies, attend client meetings, and present renewal terms. Obtain renewal terms, produce professional summaries and reports using Howden templates, and issue documentation in line with contract certainty. Ensure premiums are collected prior to cover commencement, process adjustments including insurer notifications, and handle all queries via telephone or email in a professional manner. Record all correspondence on Acturis and prioritize work to meet deadlines. This fixed-term role is based in the Cheltenham office with an expectation of 2-3 days onsite per week. Candidates require a working knowledge of general insurance, the CII Code of Ethics, and GDPR, along with a minimum of one year of specialist insurance advice experience.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market
- Working knowledge of all the main classes of general insurance
- Knowledge of the CII's Code of Ethics
- Knowledge of GDPR
- Excellent level of technical insurance skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to process work quickly and efficiently
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Excellent client service skills
- Excellent level of negotiation and broking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to gather and analyse information from the client
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual client's level of understanding

- Must be based in the Cheltenham office
- Must be available onsite for 2-3 days per week on average
