Job Summary
Collect and track financial information for clients regarding Medicaid, insurance, and third-party revenue maximization. Review financial materials to set sliding scale fees, contact clients to clarify data, and monitor Medicaid applications for follow-through. Document all activity in client charts and billing systems, send monthly invoices, and post payments from mail or credit cards. Manage office flow, handle telephone intakes, type correspondence, maintain filing systems, and compile monthly OASAS census reports. Prepare Public Assistance applications and Personal Needs Allowance breakdowns for HRA, troubleshoot billing issues, and collect family fees during support group evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of HS Diploma
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task to ensure that all administrative functions are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Computer literate
