Client Associate – Commercial Real Estate- Commercial Term Lending

Job Summary
Client Associate on the Commercial Term Lending (CTL) sales team focused on multifamily real estate. Responsibilities include developing strong business relationships through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, executing marketing plans (direct mailings, thought leadership digital mailings, proprietary client events), understanding client needs to grow real estate portfolios, analyzing commercial multifamily cash flow and valuation, modeling mortgage products, setting expectations through pre-approval to funding, and driving loan packages through the process with internal partners. Required capabilities include proficiency in financial concepts and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), excellent time management, verbal communication and presentation skills, self-motivation, teamwork, organization, and the ability to identify new business sources; a college degree in a related field or commensurate experience and cold calling experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience within a commercial real estate firm or other area of financial services (Investment Management, Commercial Banking, Business Banking or Insurance)
- Strong desire to be a contributing member on a sales team or an independent producer
- Strong understanding of financial concepts required, including being highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) with strong analytical skills
- Excellent time management, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, ambitious, team player
- Professional, thorough, organized and detail oriented; able to follow standard operating policies and procedures
- Able to identify new sources of business by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
- A college degree with a major in a related field or commensurate experience in the financial services industry
- Experience cold calling
