Job Summary
Execute business development and government relations strategies to drive regional growth by building long-term relationships with clients, public officials, and industry partners. Develop and maintain connections with elected officials and regulatory bodies while serving as the primary liaison between the firm and local, state, and federal government stakeholders. Research infrastructure funding opportunities, public policy trends, and regulations to provide economic and budget analysis to leadership. Represent Parkhill at selective council meetings, conferences, and seminars, and organize local client hospitality events. Utilize the client relationship management system to document leads, opportunities, and client information. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, 15+ years of experience in client relations or account management, and a strong network with public sector agencies. Full-time, bi-weekly salary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business (or a related field) from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 15 years of experience specializing in client relations or account management, preferably in engineering, architecture or consulting environment
- Strong network with public sector agencies, elected officials, and industry associations
- Proven success in developing and winning government contracts or public-sector projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to navigate political, regulatory, and procurement environments effectively
- Familiarity with federal, state, and municipal funding streams, procurement processes, and compliance requirements
