Job Summary

Lead end-to-end post-close accounting processes for privately held clients following mergers and acquisitions, overseeing opening balance sheet adjustments and net working capital true-ups in accordance with GAAP. Provide technical guidance on revenue recognition, leases, and equity arrangements while designing accounting workflows and supporting ERP software implementations for newly acquired entities. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating complex issues into actionable recommendations and managing cross-functional collaboration with valuation professionals and auditors. Coach and develop staff accountants, review deliverables for accuracy, and contribute to practice development initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5–8 years of M&A experience, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in accounting
  • significant exposure to M&A, post-close integration, purchase price accounting, or transaction advisory
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606

  • Experience leading accounting software implementations (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Xero, Ramp, Bill.com)
