Client Advisor, Wine Retail

Job Summary
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while cultivating new and existing client relationships through customized advisory and ultra-luxury hospitality services. Ensure consistent client experience by providing solid expertise across wine, spirits, and luxury categories, and accurately capture client data for retention and loyalty programs. Partner with the marketing team to support events, manage daily store operations including floor management and visual merchandising, and uphold security and compliance policies. Work weekends and evenings as necessary to support high-traffic retail environments, managing buyer agreements and new client account setups. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, you will engage with high-net-worth individuals while demonstrating problem-solving skills in a competitive luxury market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of sales experience in retail & hospitality industry
- Experience in wine & spirits
- Knowledge in wine & spirits
- WSET or other wine and spirits qualifications
- At ease in engaging, networking and selling to HNWI and UHNWI
- Good understanding of their consumer behaviour
- Previous experience in client service, luxury, or hospitality
- Calm demeanor with an ability to multitask in a high traffic environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Pleasant client service-oriented attitude
- Proven experience employing problem solving skills when dealing with internal and external clients
- Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- General familiarity with database management
- Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin
- Very good proficiency in English
- Must be available to work week-ends and evenings as necessary
