Job Summary
Act as a trusted advisor to Affinity clients, ensuring insurance programs deliver value through risk mitigation and operational resilience. Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, manage escalated issues promptly, and apply knowledge of commercial risks to support client strategy and program design. Lead end-to-end program and project execution for assigned accounts, including scoping requirements, building project plans, coordinating cross-functional deliverables, and ensuring high-quality implementation and renewal. Work closely with sales, servicing, compliance, legal, marketing, placement, claims, technology, and other teams to meet revenue and client service goals. Measure client success using disciplined, business-focused metrics and ongoing performance tracking. This hybrid role requires working in the office for three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Insurance industry experience, i.e., underwriting, brokerage, commercial lines, product management, or client management
- 5+ years of experience in managing client relationships, preferably in transportation or commercial insurance
- Strong project management and program execution skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams while adapting quickly to changing scope, priorities, and business needs
- Customer-centric mindset
- Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to connect operational, client, and business considerations into practical solutions
- Ability to support strategic initiatives with minimal supervision and strong accountability
- Insurance and client management experience
- Transportation industry insight
- Knowledge of commercial risks and products, including auto and fleet liability, general liability, workers' compensation, property/real estate, inland marine/cargo, management liability, and other coverages as appropriate
- This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office for three days per week
- All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week
