Job Summary
Service new and existing clients with commercial insurance products by managing renewals, invoicing, producing quotes, and upselling additional offerings. Identify and meet client needs in line with agreed service standards while handling inquiries and maintaining relationships with insurer partners. Support colleagues on business-critical tasks and demonstrate adaptability to ensure timely task completion. Maintain a thorough understanding of major insurance classes and product developments through ongoing training and study.
Required Qualifications
- Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
- Experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products
- 1 + years' experience within insurance, this can be from either personal lines or within commercial insurance
- A desire for a long-term career within the insurance industry
- A thirst for learning and the opportunity to study for further insurance related qualifications
- Must be able to work at least four days a week in the office
- Must be available for hybrid work including working remotely and collaborating in the office
- Must be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Background within customer service / administration
- Experience in personal lines or commercial insurance (alternative to the 1+ years requirement)
- A thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer our clients
- Ability to keep abreast of new technical and product developments
