Job Summary
Client Advisor at RBC in the Greater Toronto Area responsible for engaging clients in-branch and the community to identify banking needs, educate on digital banking, onboard new clients, and refer opportunities to specialists. Role focuses on proactive client education, demonstrating digital tools, driving sales and referrals, handling a full range of financial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with partners. Must be fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Tagalog; many branch locations across Markham, Scarborough, and Toronto with hours up to 8 PM and 20–37.5 hours per week; role is full-time and trainee-level with a pathway to development within RBC.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese or Tagalog
- Demonstrated passion for putting clients first
- Hands-on, target-driven sales experience
- Problem-solving and people skills
- Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
- Ability to work all business hours
- Experience in customer service or financial/services preferred
- Mutual Funds accreditation or Canadian Securities Course is a nice-to-have
