Job Summary
Greet and engage every client entering the branch, proactively uncovering their visit reason and resolving concerns at first point of contact. Assist members with immediate personal and business banking needs using RBC systems and digital platforms, while offering client-centric advice and simple solutions. Lead discovery conversations to identify opportunities for warm introductions to RBC Partners for complex needs, and champion digital enablement by educating clients to self-serve. Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines and controls during all transactions. Maintain an engaging on-the-floor presence throughout extended retail hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable. Fluent in English and one of the following languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Turkish, or Arabic.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in one of the following languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Turkish, or Arabic
- A passion for hosting an exceptional client experience
- Curiosity, emotional intelligence and empathetic communication skills
- Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
- Personal flexibility to work flex hours
- A self-motivated eagerness to learn and determination to succeed
- Must be available to work during RBC's retail branch hours of operation, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Experience in the financial or service industry
