Job Summary
The Client Access Representative plays a crucial role in facilitating access to mental health services for clients. Responsibilities include welcoming clients, listening to their needs, navigating scheduling processes, processing referrals and intakes, managing communications, handling administrative tasks, initiating billing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational skills, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and an understanding of insurance payers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience working in a physician’s office or similar healthcare setting
- Solid understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and third-party insurance payers
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Office Technologies
