Job Summary
Client Access and Records Team role at Centennial serves as the welcoming entry point for clients and families, handling virtual or phone-based client check-in, scheduling follow-ups, guiding clients to Billing for co-pays or sliding-fee arrangements, processing referrals, and performing administrative support across medical, substance use, and mental health care lines. Responsibilities include greeting clients, directing transfer queues, recording time for payroll, coordinating intake appointments with clinicians based on licensure or specialty, reconciling daily payments, maintaining the fee schedule, scanning and organizing referrals and records in the EHR, handling patient communications, and supporting a team-based care model with a focus on timely service delivery and accurate documentation. Required competencies include professional communication, basic MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills, familiarity with medical records and EHRs, ability to prioritize work, and a compassionate approach to working with vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to communicate professionally in person and on the phone
- Understanding of electronic systems, prior EHR experience preferable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive interpersonal skills and professionalism
