Job Summary
Wave plan orders, verify inventory availability, and release stock to sort and consolidate teams based on FIFO methodology. Monitor workflow from release to ship complete, perform hourly "ship complete" operations, and utilize WMS/EBS to confirm order status. Address inventory issues promptly, sort orders by date, priority, value, and demand, and communicate regularly with coordinators and supervisors to ensure on-time shipping. Manage email and phone communications from Customer Service while collaborating with the receiving team to prioritize incoming materials. Work extended hours as necessary in a high-urgency environment supporting North American distribution goals.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to analyze, investigate, and resolve shipment delivery issues in a timely manner
- Proven strength in WMS
- Proficient use of Oracle EBS
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in distribution
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
- Position is located in Evansville, Indiana
