Job Summary
Accept donations, sort them to the correct departments, and ensure they reach the sales floor. Operate the cash register and POS system, stock the sales floor with proper categorization and pricing, and maintain daily cleaning standards. Treat customers with respect, assist volunteers and community service workers, and manage paperwork and bank deposits. Take charge of store operations when the manager is unavailable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must follow the daily cleaning list
- Possess good customer service skills
- Able to follow verbal and written direction
- Needs to understand excel and word documents
- Ability to maneuver
- Ability to remain in a stationary position
- Ability to grasp
- Ability to push
- Ability to pull
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to access and produce information from the computer
- Ability to operate telephone
- Ability to understand written information
- Continued employment will be contingent upon a biennial (every two years) background check
