Job Summary
Check medical claims status with insurance companies on claims filed on behalf of Northern Montana Health Care and work with patients to resolve accounts involving patient responsibility. Coordinate patient financial assistance documents and research patients who have moved and left no forwarding address. This role is part of the credit and collections team at Northern Montana Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving Hi-Line communities of Montana.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer literate
- Good organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to be assertive
- Subject to a credit check based on the Fair Credit Reporting Act
