Job Summary
Clerk, Operations at Serta Simmons Bedding supports office administration, plant operations finance, and human resources functions. Primary duties include managing the plant front office, greeting guests, purchasing office supplies, badge creation, basic desktop support with IT, coordinating site events, mail handling, and coordinating repairs; producing weekly production and financial reports, reviewing accounts payable with proper three-way matching, assisting with revenue reconciliation, and supporting HR activities such as new-hire onboarding, benefits enrollment, attendance tracking, performance reviews, and recruiting coordination. Requires strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), data analysis, and effective communication; typically requires 3-5 years of experience and a High School Diploma (Associates Degree in Business Administration preferred).
