Job Summary
Clerk of Works responsible for ensuring approved materials and workmanship are used, verifying construction works align with drawings for correct dimensions, levels, and locations; inspect WPC’s work at scheduled stages, witness material and work tests, and record site instructions; prepare a written punch list with the RE to ensure issues are rectified before coverage; notify WPC and ARE of non-compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years proven working experience in construction site supervision, ideally in road and bridge projects.
- Certified Inspector of Works (registered under the Board of Engineers Malaysia).
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and safety standards.
