Job Summary
Inspect documents of ownership, eligibility, and registration certificates to ensure safekeeping of racing permits for horses stabled or racing on association grounds. File registration papers under appropriate trainer folders, track Compass dates for Racing Office submissions, and administer ownership transfers presented from Stewards. Maintain logs of in's and out's throughout the season, answer Horsemen requests regarding registration papers, and submit legal transfers for ownership. Must be at least 21 years of age with up to one year of experience with RTO in Compass. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Up to 1 year experience with RTO incompass
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in English
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn National Gaming's auto insurance carrier
- Must be able to regularly stand
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms
- Must have close vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance
