Job Summary
Clerk at Mountain View Co-op (MVC) to deliver courteous customer service, process transactions accurately, and support store operations in a safety-focused retail environment. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, operating the POS system, adhering to cash handling policies, stocking and merchandising shelves, rotating perishable products per safety standards, maintaining store cleanliness, promoting current promotions, communicating product handling and safety procedures, assisting with facility and equipment maintenance, and resolving balance discrepancies across Epicor/Triple E systems. Key skills include strong customer service, basic math, cash handling, effective communication, reliability, and ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior customer service or retail experience preferred
- Forklift Certification or ability to obtain preferred
