Job Summary
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and Linamar's Global Operating System, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards. Maintain department 5S requirements and support lean initiatives. Execute physical inventory, perform location auditing, and conduct cycle counts and inventory verification in the warehouse, evaluating WIP and raw counts for root cause analysis. Assist Buyers, Planners, and Material Handling with material flow systems and perform backup functions for Shipping/Receiving. Read engineering drawings for material identification, analyze Bill of Materials, and utilize production schedules to ensure supplies remain on hand.

- Ability to read lists of products, stock numbers, quantities and prices
- Refer to schedules to locate times that trucks will be making deliveries
- Excellent communication skills
- Above average analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to determine material status in terms of transfers, receiving, work in process and back-flushing
- Ability to understand Bill of Materials and where used analysis
- Ability to understand production schedules
- Strong inventory control and stock keeping capabilities
- Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Keep up to date on changes in computer technology and with changes in different tools and materials used for production
- Forklift certification
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, visual activity
- Climbing, reaching, walking, grasping
- Pulling, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs
- Extreme temperatures and noise
- Atmospheric conditions
